Reducing the spread of the virus.

Useful information for Tenants to reduce the risk of spreading the virus;
  • If you cough or sneeze, use a tissue and put it in the bin. Immediately wash or santisie your hands.
  • Wash hands more often for 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • Keep all surfaces in the property clean and tidy. Wipe down high touch areas regularly, such as doors handles & toilets.  
  • If you have a dishwasher use it to clean and dry your pots. If this is not possible, wash them by hand and dry thoroughly using a separate tea towel.
  • Don't shake dirty laundry to minimise the possibility of spreading the virus through the air. 
  • Dispose of waste in the outside bins frequently. Waste (including tissues) from anyone living in the property who has shown symptoms should be put in a plastic bag and tied when full. Placed in a second bag and tied, then put in the normal waste after 72 hours.
  • Ventilate indoor areas. Let fresh air in the property as often as is comfortable.
  • Follow and stay up to date with the government guidance on restrictions and lockdown
